Creative Concept:
In general, humans beings are social entitles that need to function in a community. Based on this nature, I am trying to illustrate by deforming this concept into visual forms in likeliness of a human rice stalks/straw. In it, there exist elements such as “bundling or trying”, “rolling”, “knitting” That form a sense of togetherness. Since rice is a staple food for the people of Indonesia (agricultural nation) and has gained a reputation as an icon, it is important to note that like the rice stalks/straw, human beings are associated with all the intangible qualities stated above.

However, the reality is far from ideal, brutal coercion and injustice towards farmers has taken a serious toll. Along with the country’s current condition, the rising cost of fertilizers and a general nonchalant attitude towards farmers are directly hurting their daily existence.
